Underground
In case the “conventional, on-ground” station cannot be placed owing to architectural limitations, the only solution is underground stations. The underground transformer station is a leakproof, monolithic concrete container adapted to be placed under the ground, with medium and low voltage switchgears installed inside. MV (TPM, Rotoblok SF) and LV (RN-W) switchgears are independent elements of the station. The station can be installed on the pavement, square, etc.
Bilges between two floors allow for proper functioning even when surface rain water leaks through the ventilation holes. Water-proof cable glands and tight concrete housing ensure reliable and long-term work of the station.
With Interior Drive
MRw-b type concrete container transformer stations are prefabricated containers composed of three monolithic elements made from C30/ 37 class reinforced concret (i.e. the fundament, main body and roof).
The fundament has an isolated oil sump founda-tion (which can contain at least 100% of the transformer’s oil in case of leakage), and a cable compartment with MV and LV cable ducts. The main body is intended to cover the MV and LV switchgears, remote control and signaling applianc-es, metering systems, transformers, aggregators and another devices according to design. Optionally, the roof can be made entirely from metal sheets, or an architectonic panel installed on a concrete roof. In standard construction of the station, it is possible to install hermetically sealed transformers with rated power up to 1000 kVA.
We also offer solutions which allow the assembly of units with higher rated power, even up to 4 MVA in various types (oil with conservator, resin, professional). Owing to the specificity of such solutions, the station manufacturer must be consulted with the each time. The transformer is installed through the transformer compartment door or from the top after removing the roof.
Externally Operated
Prefabricated containers manufactured from reinforced concrete. Their design is based on individual projects and requirements. As a result, you can find here a number of sample solutions, but every project can be adjusted to the spatial and technical needs of our Clients.
Substation offers a number of advantages, such as small size, very high reliability thus minimum number of power outages, as well as minimum maintenance required. It allows to install a whole range of MV (up to 2×4 bay numbers) and LV (up to 2×10 bay numbers) switchgears and accessories in diverse configurations. They are also ready to work with our advanced Smart Grid system. We have also taken care of the aesthetic aspect of our gas insulated substations. The choice includes e.g. different types and colours of roof, walls and ceilings.
Metallic
Thanks to the modular design, it is possible to create a wide range of substation configurations based on standard modules, complex configurations based on medium voltage switchgear (air or gas insulated) and proprietary low voltage switchgear.
Modular posts are based on a lightweight, self-supporting metal structure. This design allows the post to be placed directly on the ground or on a pre-prepared base without the need to prepare additional foundations. This shortens installation time and costs compared to traditional solutions.
Type Pole Display
The WST transformer substation can be used in any situation where the location of typical transformer substations is not possible due to architectural constraints. Because it occupies a very small area, it blends perfectly into the landscapes of old towns, squares and markets surrounded by old, dense buildings and has a stylised façade that allows it to fit in with the architecture of existing buildings.
The substation is a building composed of four monolithic reinforced concrete castings with a circular cross-section, including: the foundations, the main structure with medium and low voltage switchgear, the main structure with the transformer room and the roof.

Compuse
ZPUE S.A. is one of the few companies on the market to offer a concrete container connection system, under the name „MRw-bS”, ready for individual adaptations to meet customer needs. In order to reduce investment costs for installations with significant installed power demand, multi-functional „MRw-bSP” substations can be used. Their main advantage is the concentration of significant power of the transformer unit in a small footprint
